Resetting your iPhone means to totally erase all the contents including the Restriction passcode, so you can remove the Restriction passcode by resetting your device. If the two conditions are met, let’s get to know how it works.
Step 1 Download and launch iPhone Unlocker on your PC
Step 2 Connect your device to PC with a USB cable
Make sure the connection is stable for the whole time.
Step 3 Choose Screen Time mode
There’ re 3 options on the main interface, choose Screen Time. Click Start.
After clicking Start, if your iPhone/iPad is running with :
iOS 16 or earlier versions
The program will start to remove the Restriction passcode, and a few moments later, the Restriction passcode will be removed, your device will enter a re-setup process.
During the process, to make sure that the Restriction passcode is totally erased, and your data won’t be lost, you need to make 2 very important choices.
During the re-setup process:
- In Apps & Data section, you need to tap Don’t transfer Apps & Data on your device, because iPhone Unlocker will transfer the data back to your device. If you choose to restore from iCloud or iTunes backup, the backup files will replace iPhone Unlocker’s transfer, which causes data loss.
- In Screen Time section, tap Set Up Later in Settings, so, when you finish resetting up your device, no Restriction passcode will be required to enter.
Or, your iPhone is running iOS 16 or earlier, you are likely to retrieve your screen time passcode. But it needs one necessary condition, you have backed up your device in iTunes without encrypting it. If you haven’t backed up your iPhone, go and back up now, do not encrypt it.
If the iTunes backup isn’t encrypted, after clicking Start on this software, the software will get to retrieve your forgotten Restriction passcode in a few minutes. You can reset your Restriction passcode or you could just use this. Try not to forget it this time. If you want to turn off Restriction passcode, go to Settings > Screen Time > Change Screen Time Passcode > Turn off Screen Time Passcode, you can turn it off by entering the regained passcode.
This is what iPhone Unlocker is capable of. It can not only help your remove your Restriction passcode but also keep your data safe. It takes only a few steps to achieve that goal. If you want to get rid of your forgotten Restriction passcode, try iPhone Unlocker.
