They say you can know a person better by knowing their history. This doesn't only apply to life experiences, you can also get to know a person more and even know what they're hiding through their WIFI history.

Yes! It can say a lot about a person including their secret. How? Well, knowing a person’s WIFI history can also be used to know if their visiting malicious and innapropriate websites and more. Also, it lets you know the places they’ve been to. You can then see if they're lying about their whereabouts.

Now, if you're on a mission to check WIFI history you’re on the right page! Check out the methods we listed below!

Method 1: How to Check WIFI History on a Router

You might ask “can you see what websites are visited on your WIFI?”. Well, routers have a feature in which you can track sites visited by the devices connected to them. If you worry that your target is using Incognito mode, don’t worry. Even if they turn on the feature while browsing, it's still visible on your router.

There are two options on how to do it.

mSpy Phone Hacker

Hack Android phone and tablet, iPhone and iPad remotely and secretly! All information is visible to you!

Spy on all social media apps, FB, IG, Twitter, Snapchat, etc

View SMS/IMs, call logs, contacts, emails, browser history

Record every keystroke and set alarm for specific keywords

Option 1

Step 1

On the back of your router look for the default gateway or IP address of the router.

Step 2

Access the IP address on your browser and log in using the default username and password. This is also found on the back of the router.

Step 3

Next, go to the Control Panel and find the Outgoing Logs/Log Settings feature. From there you should see the sites visited by the connected devices.

If you can't find your router’s IP address, you can use the CMD method. Keep in mind that this process can be complicated, so make sure to read every step carefully.

Tip:

You may also purchase a router with built-in parental control features. These routers will let you monitor your target's browsing activity as long as they are connected.

Option 2

Step 1

Find a computer that is connected to your WIFI. From there, hit the search bar and find Command Prompt and open it.

Step 2

Next, type in “ipconfig” and hit Enter.

Step 3

Wait for it to load and find the Default Gateway and copy it.

Step 4

Paste it on your browser and follow steps 2 and 3 on option 1.

To easily spot your target device, make sure to obtain its IP address. However, this may raise suspicions and you might get caught by the owner. Also, this method will only show the sites they visited and not the networks they are connected to. Don’t worry, we have a much easier and safer way.

Yes. All you need to do is access the router’s Default Gateway address and access the log settings and you can see the sites they visited.

2Can the WIFI owner see my deleted history?

Deleting your history from your browser or your device does nothing to stop it from reaching your ISP or any other third party along your connection. If you want to keep your browsing history private from your ISP, use a VPN to encrypt your traffic.
