Recently when I was playing overwatch on my computer, I was often prompted with an alert that rendering device lost. And suddenly the game screen turned to grey with all operations invalid. I have to open Task Manager to end overwatch. And lately it gets worse, it starts to burst into Blue Screen and restart without any hint, Afterwards, it shows me a “Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown” alert. I thought that it may be contributed from my new graphics card. So, I open the lid of my computer case and clean the sockets of my graphics card with alcohol, clean the dust with a dryer and cotton swab which seems that I was doing a medical operation for a patient. However, after a long-time remedy, it turns out that I hadn’t pinpointed the true etiology.
So, don’t follow me and read through this post before you initiate the plan. Substantially, this problem pertains to Stop errors also called Blue Screen or Black Screen error.

Step 1: Open RUN windows by Press Win + R key and type msconfig and press Enter key to launch System Configuration Window.

Step 3: Go to Startup tab. Click on Disable all button on the bottom-right. Click Apply to save the change and then OK to close the window. You will be prompted with a confirm box, just click Exit without restart since we need to do more one thing.
Step 4: Now, open command prompt by typing cmd in RUN Box or search for it in the windows search bar. Remember to launch cmd as administrator Type sfc /scannow and press Enter key. You will see lines as below:
\\Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
\\Beginning verification phase of system scan.
\\Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Step 5: When you see the line highlighted above, just restart your computer and the problem is fixed.
When the Blue Screen error happens, a debug file is generated on your hard disk explaining the causes of this error. Once you restart windows in normal mode or safe mode, you can read the crash log with BlueScreenView which is totally free to utilize. You can install from the official site and view the recent crash logs on your windows. You can learn more about the crash by searching the DLL file name and error online.
When you can specify the cause just undo the change or remove the service. You will get it done.
Step 1: Boot your computer to safe mode and disable all devices drivers, fail to login to safe more? View windows recovery options. You should disable device drivers below:
Step 2: Reboot the computer and if it succeed to login in windows without the message than enable one of the driver and reboot again.
Step 3: Repeat the above step until you get the message again, then you just need to remove the driver that you just enable and update it to the latest version.
