Method 2: Bypass iPhone passcode with iTunes

Step 1 Enter Recovery Mode

When you’ve activated Recovery Mode, your iPhone will sync to iTunes automatically.
Step 2 Restore your iPhone
Locate your device’s icon on the right, click it. A pop-up appears, saying that “There is a problem with the iPhone”, and two options are available, Restore and Update.
Here, we need to choose Restore. Restore could reset your iPhone to original factory settings, which is to completely erase the device.
Click Restore, and enter your Apple ID and password, then, all you need is to wait. iTunes would download software for restoring your device which would be erased automatically. Once the software is downloaded, it would get to restore your iPhone.

Cautions:
- Make sure Find My iPhone is disabled on iCloud. If it’s enabled, turn it off on Settings > [Apple ID] > Find My or iCloud from your handset.
- If the whole process takes more than 15 minutes, your iPhone would exit Recovery Mode. Repeat Step 1 and proceed.
